All of our courses adhere strictly to PADI standards. Our teaching groups are small with no more than four divers to any one instructor. We believe that you dictate the pace so that you get the maximum learning and the maximum fun!

The House Reef offers incredible corals and fish for our new divers while Crystal Bay is the perfect setting for a first deep dive. Whether it is your first time or you want to go all the way to professional level training, we have the course that matches your needs.

• Fun diving Nusa Lembongan, Ceningan and Penida:

Enjoy a wonderful day out on our traditional Jukung dive boat. Our boat is equipped with life jackets, fire extinguishers, communications plus a first aid kit with oxygen.

Our daily trips usually include two dives, one in the channel between Nusa Ceningan and Nusa Penida and another drift dive along the north coasts of either Nusa Lembongan or Nusa Penida. Our favorite trips include Manta Point and the east coast of Nusa Penida. NITROX is available for all nitrox certified divers.

We provide fruit, hot and cold drinks and a spicy “Nasi Bungkus”, a Balinese rice specialty, while relaxing on the upper deck during the surface interval.

Our dive trips take between four and five hours and we head out with the rising tide. This means that the departure time changes daily so that we can enjoy the best of the conditions out in the Badung Strait.

Frequently Asked Questions:

• Are the dive sites around Nusa Lembongan and Nusa Penida suitable for inexperienced divers?

  • Yes! We time our daily trips so that our guests dive while there is an incoming tide. That way the currents are gentle and divers of all abilities can enjoy the underwater scenery. Our dive groups are small – a maximum of four divers – so that guests are grouped with others of similar ability and dive to their own level of capability and experience.

• Is it possible to dive with you for a day if staying over on mainland Bali?

  • Generally we would advise against planning a day trip out here to dive with us. If we are leaving at about 10.00 a.m. it is just possible to return to Bali on the same day, using the speedboats Scoot or Rocky. However, if you are based in Kuta or Ubud, it will make for a very hectic day. It is better, if possible, to stay overnight, so that the tide time is no longer crucial.

• What are you likely to see on a typical dive at Nusa Penida or Nusa Lembongan?

  • A huge variety of marine life! The corals are spectacular and in excellent condition as very little fishing occurs around these waters. Marine life typically seen includes: different kinds of Rays, Scorpionfish, Lionfish, Puffer fish, Sweetlips, Emporer Angelfish, Moray Eels, Ribbon Eels, Nudibranchs, Black-striped Snakes, Clown Triggerfish, Titan Triggerfish, a huge variety of Parrotfish and the list goes on! During the season, you are likely to spot either the Mola Mola or the Manta Ray during your dives.

• What should I expect to pay for food and drink on the island?

  • There are many excellent places to eat and drink on the island with lots of different prices. Simple warung food will cost any where from 30,000 IDR to 50,000 IDR for a main meal, while some of the top restaurants will charge Rp. 200,000 or more. Beers are about 30,000 IDR for a small Bintang and big beers are around 40,000 IDR. A Glass of wine is about Rp. 80,000.

• Is internet and WiFi available on the island?

  • There are several places on the island with free WiFi. Some notable locations are The Beach Club, The Deck Bar and Bali Eco Deli.
