Austwick is an 8 berth boat new to Cruisers for the 2017 season. The kitchen & living area are at the front of the boat, with the living area converting either into a double bed or two singles. Austwick can be set up with four double beds OR three doubles and two singles OR two doubles and four singles. There is one shower room with a shower cubicle, toilet, and wash hand basin and a second compartment with toilet and wash basin. Austwick is complete with full central heating.

• Are Canal Holidays Sitable For Children?

  • Keeping children amused and interested is generally agreed to be the key to a relaxing holiday for parents. With the constantly changing environment, there is plenty of interest and opportunity to see wild animals and birds in their natural surroundings. Children are also free to move about and play games, even when travelling and they find locks and swing bridges fun to operate.

• Can I Bring My Pet?

  • Yes. However, we do charge £25 per pet and request that all pets are kept away from the bedding.

• Do I Need Any Previous Experience?

  • No driving licence or previous experience is necessary. When you collect your boat, detailed instructions on how to operate the simple controls and other equipment is given. You will then be taken for a “driving lesson”, during which you may negotiate a swing bridge. When you’re happy handling the boat, we leave you to cruise to the first lock where you will be given full lock tuition.
