38 years experienced skipper/wildlife guide Lindsay Johnston invites you aboard to view the abundant wildlife and spectacular scenery of the Sound of Jura and the Firth of Lorn or for a Whirlpool Experience to see the maelstrom in action.

Venturer Boat:

  • Powered by a 650 hp Volvo penta engine, Venturer is a fantastic sea boat which will allow us to go farther and you to see more on our trips.


Facilities:

  • A heated toilet suitable for persons with limited mobility and
  • A heated wheel house with seating for up to 10 passengers,
  • A small galley, and
  • A canopy over half the passenger deck

  • Hour: £180 GBP
  • 2 Hour: £320 GBP
  • 2½ Hour Corryvreckan: £400 GBP
  • 3 Hour: £430 GBP
  • 4 Hour: £530 GBP
  • Day: £770 - £880 GBP


Prices include tea, coffee, hot chocolate, mineral water, squash and shortbread available.

Rental Requirements

Rental Terms:

  • Please be on board at least 15 minutes prior to departure
  • We regret we cannot wait for late arrivals
  • Refunds will only be given if we are forced to cancel due to strong winds or any other unforeseeable circumstance
  • Excitable dogs can scare wildlife. Well behaved dogs are welcome by arrangement for a small charge of £1 GBP per paw.


Don't Forget:

  • Bring sunscreen and sunglasses, even on cool days the reflected rays of the sun can cause sunburn
  • Bring warm and waterproof clothing; it is colder at sea than on land and our weather can be changeable
  • Bring your camera; there will be ample photo opportunities
  • Bring your binoculars. We have some on board but best to use your own
