What You Can Expect:

Private boat charters in Key West that are designed around “You”. Let us know your idea and we will… Make It So!

Or choose from any of these local favorites…

Sunset Cruise

Green flash… Is it real or just a glimmer of hope emphasizing the infatuation we all have with the perfect sunset, a deeply held belief that the next time the sun meets the horizon it will be the best one yet?….or maybe, just maybe, it will behold the mystical flash desired to put an exclamation point on the perfect vacation in the keys. Whatever the case may be, Captain Howie will make your quest the best that it could possibly be. Your vantage point will include comfortable seating, a unique Hors d’oeuvre spread, perfectly chosen cocktail, and sunset specific background music. Whatever color meets the horizon, flash or not, you will definitely have a sunset to remember.

Sandbar Chilling

Captain Howie’s 10 plus years of navigating around the turquoise waters of the Keys and Key West has enabled him to uncover some great places to chill. Always in search of the perfect sandbar, Captain Howie has collected a list of spots ranging from local favorites to secret seclusion’s tucked away in the mangroves. Whatever type of lounging you are aspiring to achieve, he has the perfect spot. Ask about grilling options.

Snorkeling

“Location, location, location” Yes you have heard this on land, but it is soooo true out on the water as well. Snorkeling is all about seeing things and this is where location is Key. Anyone can grab a mask and walk into the ocean to snorkel, but unfortunately your odds of seeing anything worth putting a mask on for is slim at best. Captain Howie not only knows all the “commercial” locations, he also knows the spots off the beaten path. Or more importantly… the spots that have not been beaten. The health of the coral is critical to attracting a healthy habitat of fish and sea life. Captain Howie will take you to his favorite spots where the coral is happy and the sea life is too.

Key West Eco Tour

Enjoy a relaxing cruise through the Great White Heron National Wildlife Refuge. It almost feels like you are going back in time. You are surrounded by mangroves and weaving through narrow channels never knowing what you might see. All of a sudden you see a beautiful white Heron fly by and then spot in the distance an Osprey perched high up in the branches. All the while there are amphibious creatures sneaking by beneath the surface. Is it a Barracuda, or a nurse shark? Maybe it was a Manta Ray? All very possible options when your are touring through this amazing refuge.

Light Tackle Fishing

Enjoy a relaxing day of fishing out by the reef or in along the mangroves. A great trip for the beginner fisherman or someone who just wants to give it a try. The focus is on fun, but we certainly will give it our best effort to catch some keepers to take back to the dock. A great trip to combine with our other options. Maybe a little fishing at the reef and then some chilling and grilling at a sandbar. Sounds like a great day out in the water!

Key West Dolphin Watching

It doesn’t matter how many times you see them. Every time you see a Dolphin you can’t help but respect these beautiful air breathing mammals. They glide through the water with a grace that touches you every moment you are lucky enough to be in their presence.

Sometimes they will acknowledge you and give you a rare opportunity to see their playfulness and curiosity. Other times they let you know that you are only an observer to their amazing world under the surface of the ocean.

In either case it is always a thrilling experience to see them. Luckily for us in the Keys, they are somewhat predictable in their choice of habitat and we often times get the special treat of observing them in all of their glory.
We have a great track record for finding them and is good at combining Dolphin visits with other fun activities.
