There aren’t any boating events right in Betina, but regattas do take place in the other towns on Murter. One noteworthy event that takes place in Betina is during the first Sunday in August. Known as “Brganje Day” this event celebrates shellfishing - with music, arts, and the folklore of the town being a focus of the festivities.
In April in the town of Kornati on Murter is the Kornati Cup, a sailing regatta that officially kicks off the summer sailing season. It’s a fun event to attend to see the sailboats and enjoy some of the special events taking place at restaurants and nearby seaside venues.
Other Things To Do
Because of its small size, one wouldn’t expect there to be any sort of museum in Betina, but there is a Museum of Wooden Shipbuilding in the town. Betina has a rich history of being a site of wooden ship construction. It’s one of the few places on the Adriatic coast today that is still building wooden ships.
Betina has some lovely, family-owned restaurants in the town. Spend some time wandering the streets and stopping into these little taverns and cafes to enjoy some delicious, traditional Croatian and Mediterranean cuisine.

Marina Betina is the only marina located in Betina, but Marina Hramina is nearby in the town of Murter. They are both functional marinas with showers, an ATM, a restaurant, and other basic amenities. The workers are friendly and the marinas will have everything you need for your boating vacation. They are also nice places to go to admire the boats in their berths and watch sailors and captains cruise in and out of port.
