Our Surf Taster Lesson is a One Hour Introduction to Surfing so that people can learn the basics. For our Surf Taster Lesson we'll start with an a short introduction to the equipment and some of the basic techniques on the beach for about 10 - 15 minutes where we'll give you information about the board, the waves and the techniques. We'll explain how to paddle, how to stand up and how to catch the waves. Before we go in the water we'll go through some safety tips and put on some sunblock. After the learning the basics on the beach we will put them into practice out on the water for the next 50 minutes. In the water we'll help you to catch some nice small waves to get the feeling of what the board is doing and to get the hang of the timing to pop up. When this going well, we'll go a bit further out to catch some of the bigger waves. We will be right there in the waves with you the whole time helping you with instruction so that after the lesson you'll be surfing like a pro.We'll have our lesson on My Khe Beach in front of the Holiday Beach Hotel where there are usually some nice sandbars with small waves which are great for beginners. Tour program
08.30 – Pick up from your hotel and have a quick transfer to our kayak station in Cam Thanh. After a briefing on paddle safety and the area you will be kayaking, we’ll set off to the mangrove forest where the most well grown Nipa palms (locally known as cocopalm) are found. It is a unique mangrove ecosystem to Hoi An and the scenery is spectacular.
We then paddle along the Thu Bon River to the heart of the Ancient Town. It’s a unique experience to catch the reflection of old houses from water level perspective. Embark at a local pier opposite the Ancient Town at around 11.00, there’s time for refreshment at a riverside café before get a transfer back to your hotel.

8.00. Morning pick up at your hotel in Hoi An and transfer to the pier in Cua Dai beach. Get on a speed boat and depart to Cham Island (30 minutes). Arrive at Lang village of Cham island and our tour guide will help you understand more about Cham island with its history. Visit to the Marine Protected Area, the boat shelter, Hai Tang pagoda, traditional fishing village, and the local market.
Then get back on board and go swimming and snorkeling to see the coral reef and biology system of Cham islands. Then transfer to Bai Ong beach and have lunch at local restaurant.
Afternoon you are free relaxing on the beach or go swimming. You can join basket boat, water sports (your own expenses) or trek along the coast as well as discover the fishing villages nearby.
14.00 back to the pier and get on board to return the mainland. The driver waits and transfers you back to your hotel.

Hi.  I am Vinh, born and raised in Cam Thanh, a small fishing village in Hoi An city, I have grown accustomed to helping my parents and experience fishing on the river. both related to fishing and can sit for hours fishing with friends.

Recreational kayaking is just like it sounds—relaxing! This is the type many of us do when we’re on a local lake, sea or slow river. Easy for beginners, easy for children…easy for anyone who can get into a kayak and paddle. Sea kayaks are ideal for touring because they’re long and narrow, often 14-18 feet. What's Included:We will provide a rash vest or a wetsuit and have all the necessary equipment - sit on top kayaks, paddles,waters, buoyancy aids for the tour.We will take pictures and videos of the tour on our gopro What To Expect 9:00AM: Meet at the D.N.O.A Shop Meet up with the Instructor at the Da Nang Outdoor Adventures. Get your Paddles and Helmet. We will provide a rash vest or a wetsuit depending on the conditions . Make sure to put on some sun cream and wear a hat because it gets quite warm in Da Nang 9:05AM; Walk to the Beach We will take a short walk down to beach (about 5 minutes) to start the lesson . 9:10 AM – 9:40AM: Introduction to Kayaking We will do some warm up exercises and an introduction to Kayaking followed by a demonstration by the Instructor 9:40AM – 10.50 AM: Short Trip &amp; Kayaking Games! We will spend this time trying out some of the kayaking strokes before going on a short trip up the beach and finish with some raft games. 10:55 AM : Return to the Shop After the lesson we will head back to the shop.
