My husband and I spent four days in Osaka in May, and it was absolutely fantastic! There was so much to see and do that four days definitely wasn’t enough. But out of everything we experienced, the most memorable was the half-day we spent with Captain Yoshi, bouncing around Osaka Bay chasing sea bass. Even though all of our communication was through Google Translate, we still managed to share lots of stories, jokes, and laughs. Captain Yoshi is truly dedicated to putting his clients on fish and genuinely wants everyone to have the experience of catching something. Thanks to him, my husband and I were able to catch our first few saltwater fish, which made the experience even more special and memorable. Thank you so much, Captain Yoshi! The owner of the yacht, Viktor, tried to be very accommodative of all my requests and was quite clear in his communications. I booked the yacht for my girlfriend’s birthday and proposed to her as a surprise in the deck when the lights at the bund were on. It was truly a memorable night for both of us. One suggestion is to book the decorations well ahead in time so that you can get a better supplier with good decoration.

I rented this boat to propose to my girlfriend (she said yes!). The experience was perfect. All staff were great, communication clear. The boat looked great with balloons and lights. We took a lovely cruise down the river past the best sites and returned very happy. Great experience

It was our first time fishing trip in Japan, we had a fantastic time. Captain Yoshihiro and his assistant are very friendly, very knowledgeable, and work very hard to help everyone have a successful day on the water. Every one had so much fun. We like his encouragements and celebrations every time someone caught fish. (Never in trips in USA). And he knows those area of water so well. Although we can not speak Japanese, language was never a problem in our trip. We caught yellowtails and many octopus. He also introduced us to a local small restaurant, we took our yellowtail there, they cooked 4 different ways for us, we loved our dishes. It is our plan to do it again. We would definitely recommend Captain Yoshihiro to anyone looking for a great fishing experience in Osaka Japan.

Nozomu was great to deal with. We started fishing for octopus, then moved on to Horse Mackerel but they just weren’t biting on this day, however Nozomu suggested trawling off the airport and we ended up with a 94cm Kingfish which was great. Nozomu joined us for dinner at a local family restaurant where they prepared the kingfish and octopus for us. They served multiple dishes and it was very authentic. Great experience. Thanks again.

He saved our trip—and turned what could have been a huge disappointment into one of the most unforgettable experiences my son and I had in Japan.
