I highly recommend Paolo. He is an excellent captain and guide, bringing the unique knowledge of a native. The boat is a comfortable and spacious ride. To be sure, as a Fiberglass boat, it is not a beautiful wooden speedboat or water taxi. But it also comes at a lower cost than those alternatives.
Amazing day on the water made possible by Alessio & Daniele. Excellent service, great communication and such an enjoyable experience made possible thanks to these two. Boat was in great shape, well-equipped and unbelievably fun to drive. Thank you again for a great time
We had an 8h bareboat tour. It was enough to make it from Laglio to Santa Maria Rezzonico. With multiple stops for swimming and some cliff jumping near Varenna. Boat was as listed, looked almost new and felt easy to handle even for a first-timer. Docking was more challenging, but ended up without a scratch. The only part I missed on the add - fuel price and how much would it cost on top. Totally recommend.
We booked this from 4,000 miles away months ahead of our trip so really were not sure how it would ultimately work. Happy to report that we had a great experience - everything was as represented and Lake Como makes for a beautiful sail, especially in the afternoon. While this boat is a bit dated, it functioned well for our family of four. We had an amazing time!
The Meteor was a fantastic sail. Highly recommend! We were concerned about the logistics of departing and returning without an engine, but when we arrived, we were quickly boated out to the moored sailboat where they assisted us off the mooring and quickly into sailing. The boat is fantastic. All in working order. We had decent wind and really loved our 3 hour sail. On our return, mooring on the ball was simple as they met us right there. Would definitely recommend for ease and experience. We did not have a Captain.
Outstanding sail on Lake Como. The Comet is stable but responsive with an enormous Genoa that allowed us to tack efficiently all the way past Belaggio into the prevailing 8 knot “Breva” seeing both sides of the lake on each tack, then run downwind on the building afternoon breeze. Reeled the foresail in completely for the last hour. Saw much of the lake on one day. Below, head was clean and very functional, everything was tidy and organized. Communication with Alessio were excellent. He was standing on the dock when we arrived both by land and by sea.
