Available Exclusively to Guests of Our Lake House Enhance your stay with a day on the water in our 2017 Sun Tracker pontoon boat. Rental Rate: $250 per day Rental Requirements - Available only to guests renting our lake house. - Primary renter/operator must be at least 21 years old. - The renter is responsible for the safe operation and care of the boat during the rental period. Fuel Policy A $100 fuel is required before your rental. Rental Terms - Eligibility - This boat is available exclusively to registered guests staying at our lake house. - The primary renter and designated boat operator must be 21 years of age or older and present a valid government-issued photo ID. Alabama Boating Laws - The renter and operator are responsible for complying with all applicable Alabama boating laws and regulations, including any required boating education or operator certification. - The renter is responsible for ensuring that anyone operating the boat is legally permitted to do so under Alabama law. Life Jackets & Safety Equipment - U.S. Coast Guard-approved life jackets are provided for all passengers. - Life jackets are located under the boat seats, with additional sizes available in the boat house. - Alabama law requires all children under 8 years old to wear a properly fitted U.S. Coast Guard-approved life jacket while the boat is underway on vessels 26 feet or less in length. - We strongly recommend that all passengers wear a life jacket at all times, regardless of age or swimming ability. - The operator is responsible for ensuring all required safety equipment remains onboard and that all passengers comply with applicable safety laws. Fuel Policy - A $100 refundable fuel deposit is required. - The boat must be returned with the same fuel level as when it departed. - To receive your fuel deposit back, please provide: - - A photo of the fuel gauge before departure - A photo of the fuel gauge upon return - A copy or photo of the fuel receipt Weather Policy - If severe weather (lightning, high winds, or other unsafe conditions) prevents safe operation, the rental may be rescheduled (subject to availability) or canceled for a full refund. Prohibited Activities - No operation while under the influence of alcohol or drugs. - No reckless operation, racing, or illegal activities. - No towing of tubes, skiers, wakeboards, or inflatables unless approved in advance. Damage & Liability - The renter assumes full responsibility and liability for the boat, its operation, all passengers, and any guest using the vessel during the rental period. - The renter accepts all risks associated with boating and agrees to operate the vessel in a safe and lawful manner. - The renter is financially responsible for any loss, theft, damage, towing, propeller damage, excessive cleaning, citations, fines, or repair costs incurred during the rental period, regardless of fault, except for mechanical failures resulting from normal use. - By renting this boat, the renter agrees to release and hold harmless the boat owner from any claims, injuries, losses, damages, liabilities, or expenses arising from the use or operation of the vessel, to the fullest extent permitted by Alabama law. Acceptance By booking this boat, the renter acknowledges they have read, understood, and agree to these rental terms and accept full responsibility for the vessel and all occupants during the rental period.
