Frequently Asked Questions Is this trip for me? If you’ve always loved the water and wanted to know what it’s like underneath the surface, then there is no time like the present to learn how to breathe underwater! The trip is open to absolute beginners who have never been diving before, newly certified divers and even advanced divers who are looking at getting a few more dives under their belt. Trust us, it feels a close affinity to the water and is a strong swimmer, learning to dive will be as easy as walking for you. What's so special about learning to dive on this particular trip? You’ll be sleeping, eating and diving off a luxury yacht which ensures that you wake up in a beautiful new spot every morning, surrounded by turquoise blue waters waiting to be explored. By the end of the trip, you will be certified open water diver. Which means that you are then eligible to go and dive anywhere in the world. Why visit the Maldives in August? August is a great time to be there as the number of plankton (a tiny organism which is a crucial source of food to many large aquatic creatures) in the water increases. So, as the number of planktons increases, so does the number of large marine animals, giving us all a much better chance of getting to see some of the most majestic marine animals in the Indian ocean.
