Booking & Cancellation Policy - Full payment is required to confirm your booking. - 100% refund if you cancel at least 3 days before the trip. - 70% refund if you cancel 1 or 2 days before the trip. - No refund if you cancel within 24 hours of departure. - Late arrivals or no-shows will result in forfeiture of the reservation without refund. - Rescheduling is subject to availability and approval. (We strongly recommend confirming your guest count and plans before finalizing your booking to avoid cancellation fees.) Weather Policy Your safety is our top priority. You are eligible for a full refund or reschedule if: There is an 80% or higher chance of rain during your rental time, based on the Miami Beach or Fort Lauderdale forecast (Google Weather). Winds exceed 25 mph (40 km/h) or the Coast Guard issues a small craft advisory for the area. The captain determines conditions are unsafe to depart. If light rain occurs but navigation remains safe, the trip will continue as scheduled or be shortened by mutual agreement. Captain & Crew - All charters require a licensed USCG captain. - Guests may choose from an approved list of captains. - The captain is fully responsible for navigation, safety, and compliance with maritime regulations. - Crew gratuities are not mandatory but highly appreciated (10–20%) for excellent service. Fuel & Operating Costs Fuel and docking fees are included in the captain’s fee unless otherwise stated. No additional hidden charges apply. The only separate cost is the crew gratuity, at your discretion. Guest Behavior & Rules To ensure everyone’s safety and comfort, please follow these guidelines: - No shoes onboard. - No glass bottles or red wine (stains are permanent). - No paper in toilets — use provided bins. - No drugs, vaping, or hookah onboard. - Smoking only in designated outdoor areas. - Do not enter cabins when wet. - Music volume must remain at a respectful level when near docks or residences. - The person who booked the trip assumes full responsibility for all guests onboard. Safety - All vessels are equipped with USCG-approved life jackets and safety gear. - The captain’s instructions must be followed at all times. - Swimming is at your own risk and only permitted when the vessel is anchored and the captain allows it. - Children under 12 must wear a life jacket when outside the cabin. Damage & Liability - Guests are responsible for any damage caused by negligence or misconduct. - The renter will be charged for any repair or cleaning costs arising from spills, stains, or breakage. - The host and captain are not responsible for personal injury, lost items, or accidents that occur due to unsafe behavior or noncompliance with instructions. Food, Drinks & Personal Items - You may bring your own food, beverages, and alcohol (except red wine or glass). - Cooler, ice, and bottled water are included. - Please take all personal items at the end of the trip — we are not responsible for forgotten belongings. Late Return & Overtime - Overtime beyond the booked duration is subject to captain’s approval and extra hourly rate. - Extra time must be agreed upon before the original trip end time to ensure schedule availability. Bareboat Charter Compliance In accordance with USCG and federal law: - The charterer (you) temporarily assumes responsibility for the vessel during the rental. - You may select your captain from an approved list. - The vessel cannot carry more than 12 passengers, including yourself. - Reschedule Policy If weather, mechanical issues, or unexpected events prevent departure, you may: - Reschedule to another available date/time, or - Receive a 100% refund if rescheduling is not possible. Your satisfaction and safety are our top priorities. Acknowledgement By booking this vessel, you confirm that: - You have read, understood, and agreed to all the above terms. - You will comply with all USCG safety regulations and the captain’s instructions at all times. - You accept full responsibility for your guests and their behavior onboard.
