The course is divided into 4 sessions and takes 10 hours to complete.  The session can be combined into 2 full days. Once all four sessions are completed participants are encouraged to take a solo sailing exam to get a Sailing Club Certificate to sail our Hobie cat or fusion boats without an instructor.

This trip provides a great opportunity to enjoy fishing in one of Cambodia’s most beautiful scenery, and is a wonderful way to spend the morning.

Find out first-hand what it takes to be a traditional fisherman in Cambodia and try for yourself all sorts of local fishing methods. If you catch a fish big enough to keep upon returning to the resort our chef will gladly cook your catch for you to enjoy. A brief visit to Koh Karang island for a snack and some swimming.

MARINE CONSERVATION INSIGHT TOUR

Embark on an early tour to discover marine wildlife on the shorelines of Preak Tnout, a community based located in Kampot. Start the day with a scenic 1-hour drive and enjoy the beautiful rural villages along the way.

Upon arrival, a local guide will greet you and assist you throughout the day. A quick simple breakfast will be served on the mangrove floating hut with a stunning view of the Gulf of Siam. After breakfast, hop on a boat and head out to nearby areas where the Irrawaddy dolphin and dugong are commonly spotted. Keep your eyes peeled as you cruise along and witness these incredible creatures in their natural habitat. You also have an opportunity to stop on the protected coral reef for snorkeling and explore the fragile marine eco system around the area.

Learn about the importance of mangroves, take part in hands-on mangrove planting activities, and contribute to conservation efforts.

DOLPHIN COASTAL EXPEDITION TOUR

The sunsets from Knai Bang Chatt are beautiful but nothing beats being on the water around sunset. Just sit back and enjoy the ride.

JOIN-IN SUNSET CRUISE  

It is short tuk-tuk ride from Knai Bang Chatt Resort to a community based Eco-Tourism village called Krapeang Sangkhae on the Kep province and Kampot border. The tour consists of a circuit with a diversity of tropical mangroves landscapes, through freshwater canals of the river until reaching the salt water of the sea.

We can take you on a private boat to discover its ecology. Several animals like kingfishers, egrets, giant ibis reptiles, and more serve as habitats for these animals. You can participate in a mangrove tree planting activity or relax in their Khmer-style hut with a stunning view of the Gulf of Siam and surrounding mountains.
