Cancellation and refund policy: If you cancel more than thirty days prior to your sailing date, your deposit will be refunded less $35 or transferred to a different date as you choose.  Between thirty days and fourteen days prior to your sailing date, your deposit is transferable but not refundable. Within fourteen days of sailing the deposit is nonrefundable and nontransferable.  If a charter is cancelled prior to sailing by the Captain, due to mechanical failures or any other non-weather extenuating circumstances, your entire deposit will be refunded (or transferred if you wish).  Refunds for charters cancelled in progress by the Captain, due to mechanical failures or any other non-weather extenuating circumstances will be prorated.  The Captain or the company Charters is not responsible for reimbursement of travel, lodging, food, or other expenses incurred by the charterer.  If you cancel or shorten the charter while in progress, there are no refunds. Weather Delays and Postponements Policy: Delays in departure or return, layovers, and shortening of the charter due to weather or other natural circumstances could occur and are to be considered as a normal part of the sailing experience.  In the case of severe weather, the Captain may delay departure or return of the charter, or postpone the charter to a later date of your choosing if necessary.  If passengers choose to cancel due to non-ideal weather conditions, there are no refunds however, postponements to a later date, due to weather or other circumstances, may be considered on a case-by-case basis and subject to a rebooking fee.
