Additional Terms & Information
YOU PAY THE GAS Cancellation Policy You may cancel up to 14 days prior to your activity taking place and receive a full refund (unless the amount is subject to a service charge). If you cancel within 14 days of your scheduled activity you forfiet your reservation fee. Cancellation Due to Bad Weather If the captain cancels your activity due to bad weather conditions, you will be issued a rain check for the balance of unused hours. Definition of Bad Weather Weather is defined by the captain. Although neither the captain nor the weatherman seems to be able to predict the weather, an honest attempt is made to determine conditions. A cloudy day is not a bad weather. There are days when rain will occur for an hour or two, blow over and then the sun comes out. In these cases, activity hours may be adjusted. A full day is defined as seven hours from 10 am to 5 pm. A half day is three and a half hours. Bad Weather Safety Policy In the event of a rainstorm, the captain will deliver passengers to a waterside restaurant during the inclement weather. In the event of thunder or lighting, all passengers and crew mus exit the boat and seek shelter at the nearest venue, per captain determination. Bad Weather Activity Interruption The captain is flexible in understanding that you deserve the hours you pay for. The trip can be adjusted earlier or later to "make up" the lost time. If vessel-worthy weather is available to compensate for a rain delay, but the customer opts not to extend the tour, fees are not refundable. In the event that the captain determines that the hours lost cannot be adjusted to extend the outing post storm, a check will be issued for the balance of unused hours. Dates/hours for redemption of rain checks are subject to availability. Boat Sickness and Other Urgent Situations In the event of "sea sickness" on the boat or other urgent situations in which a passenger may need to return to shore, the captain will make every reasonable attempt to return to dock. In some situations, the captain's more viable option will be to find a different disembarkation point where the affected passenger(s) may arrange for alternative transportation. Fees are nonrefundable in the event of passenger-aborted or passenger-cancelled activities. Late Arrival Boat departure time is set at booking. There is no "make up" time for late arrivals. Boat tours begin at the set time whether the boat leaves the dock or remains there to await tardy guests. Boat Tour Rules Rules The following rules are in place to ensure that our company is in compliance with all state and local laws. These rules are enforced for the safety of all, as well as to minimize risk of damage or loss to the boat and/or personal property of passengers. 1. Bringing laptops, notebooks such as iPads and other electronic devices onto the boat is fine. You can plug these in to play music. Cell phone, cameras or iPods, are brought on the boat at your own risk. If you choose to participate in the squirt gun battles you will want to enclose such items in a watertight storage bag. We do normally provide Ziploc bags for this. We assumes no liability for loss or damage to passengers’ personal property. 2. Food, snacks and beverages, including alcohol,*are welcome on the boat, with the following exception: please do not bring foods that can easily stain the light colored carpet and upholstery (i.e. grape juice, Skittles, Kool-Aid). *Only those passengers age 21 or older may partake in alcoholic beverages. 3. Garbage may not be tossed outside of the boat. Loose refuse is to be quickly placed into the vessel’s trash container to ensure that it does not blow off the boat and litter the water. 4. Children under the age of thirteen are required by law to wear a life jacket at all times. In the event that a non-compliance citation is issued by any law enforcement agency, the customer is responsible for settlement of the ticket and payment of any ensuing fines or fees.
