Foul-Weather/Lightning Policy This activity takes place outdoors, regardless of weather conditions. During hot weather, rain can be quite refreshing, and there are numerous locations available to relax until the rain subsides.  In the event that lightning is forecasted or occurs, we will promptly halt the trip, postpone it, and closely monitor the weather conditions. After a period of 20 minutes without any visible lightning within a 10-mile radius, and provided we receive a favorable weather report, we will continue with the planned excursion. Should the lightning persist for a full hour, or if the weather report indicates unsafe conditions, we will cancel the trip and offer options for rebooking or refunds. We prioritize the safety of our customers and crew above all else. Our owner is a U.S. Coast Guard-certified captain with over 30 years of boating experience. We prefer to err on the side of caution to prevent any unfortunate incidents on the lake that could have been avoided by taking necessary precautions.
