Accommodates up to 6 guests, with eligible non-fishing charters available for up to 8 guests. No fixed itinerary. No shared boat. Just your group and a day built around what you want to do. How Booking Works Choose your charter length—3, 4, 6, 8, or 10 hours—then select a USCG-licensed local captain to operate your rental. Fuel and your captain's hourly rate appear as separate line items during checkout, so you'll always know exactly what you're paying for. Choose Your Adventure 3 Hours - Historic Key West Harbor Cruise featuring Mallory Square, Truman Annex, the working shrimp docks, and Mel Fisher's famous salvage fleet. - National Wildlife Refuge eco cruise through quiet mangrove channels and shorebird estuaries. - Dolphin watching with the resident bottlenose dolphins off Stock Island. We drift and let them approach naturally—never chase them—and always observe federal viewing guidelines. 4 Hours - Hidden backcountry sandbars chosen by your captain based on the day's tides, wind, and local conditions. - Patch reef snorkeling with masks, fins, snorkels, and flotation belts provided. - A spectacular sunset cruise from golden hour through the last light. - A waterfront tiki bar crawl where we wait while you enjoy each stop. These longer charters are also ideal for casual light-tackle fishing with Captain Dustin Garland or Captain Patrick Carter. Target yellowtail snapper, mangrove snapper, seasonal grouper, and—when they're running—the occasional mahi. Forty-Eight Years from Spring Break to Home Port Mac McFadden first came to Key West as a University of Miami student in 1975—the kind of place you visit for spring break and think about for the next forty-eight years. He kept coming back. In 2023, he finally made Stock Island his home port and founded Six Fins. After decades on the water, one thing became clear: too many operators rushed the experience with shared boats, rigid schedules, and little personal connection. Mac wanted something different—small groups, private experiences, local captains who genuinely enjoy sharing their favorite places, and itineraries built around guests rather than a preset route. So he built Six Fins. Today, every charter and guided jet ski tour reflects that philosophy, led by experienced local captains and guides who live and work on these waters year-round. Where to Meet The Perry Hotel & Marina Dock A, Slip #32 7001 Shrimp Road Stock Island / Key West, Florida Free on-site parking is available, followed by a short, flat walk to the dock. Please arrive 15 minutes before departure for boarding. All guests complete a liability waiver before leaving the marina. If your captain delivers an exceptional day on the water, a 20% gratuity is customary and always appreciated. Weather A little rain or cloud cover doesn't usually stop a great day on the water. Safety does. Lightning, unsafe winds, small-craft conditions, and your captain's professional judgment may require us to postpone or cancel a trip. If we cancel for weather or safety, you'll have the option to reschedule or receive a refund in accordance with our booking policy.
