28' Suli Suli Fishing Boat in Kendwa
Suli Suli Suli Suli is an 8.5m open deck boat which has been professionally converted for the job of fishing. She has had a fighting chair added, along with fish finder, GPS, down riggers and six rod holders. As with all our boats she holds a current certificate of sea-worthiness and is equipped with life jackets, VHF radio and all other safety gear. Her two 40HP Yamaha outboard motors allow her to cover a lot of ground in comfort and make sure you can get to where the fish are. When you find the fish you have six Shimano rods and reels with 20lb lines to choose from. If you wish to bring your own tackle or would like to use something a bit heavier then let us know and we’ll accommodate you. This vessels open deck design is perfect for the sun lovers amongst you, allowing you to top up your tans on the way out but with enough shade that you can shelter if it gets a bit too hot. The open deck allows for keen fly fisherman to cast their lures in schools of feeding Tuna, Dorado and Rainbow Runner. Many of our guests and several experienced fishermen have said Suli Suli was their favourite boat. She is simple, unpretentious and perfectly suited to a great day out in the sun, bobbing around on the sea and the experienced captain and crew always seem to find fish! We were the first professional big game fishing operation on Zanzibar. Founded in 1998 by experienced fishermen and Managing director Chris Goodwin the company soon grew and now operates three boats. We closely follows all International Game Fishing Association rules and recommendations. We actively encourage catch and release fishing unless it is the fisherman’s first ever catch, his biggest to date, or if it is likely to be an East African, All Africa or world record. All of our boats have a selection of rods, reels and lures and a choice of different baits depending on what you are trying to catch. Our captains can help you choose which would best suit your style and the conditions on the day.
