The Bavaria 50 Cruiser is a large cruising yacht providing spacious and comfortable accommodation for several families, or a group of up to 16 adults. Accommodation is in five cabins, providing 10 permanent berths with three ‘heads’. The main cabin can also provide additional berths if people wish to ‘spread out’ more. With so much space, the ‘50’ can accommodate several families with children sailing together; the forward side cabins providing bunks which are aways popular with children. Alternatively she makes a good boat for a group of friends wishing to sail together. Sailing Like many modern yachts the Bavaria 50 Cruiser can be managed by a crew of two, although at 50’ a larger crew always makes mooring and other tasks simpler. ‘Short handed’ sailing is eased by her her in-mast furling main and furling headsail making sail work simple and her bow thruster assisting with close-quarters manoeuvering and parking.
