We want your trip to Lake Powell to be memorable so we have included all the extras you may need for a one of a kind lake adventure. This pontoon can NOT pull any toys, it is just a cruising pontoon and not made for speed or long distances. Whether you are taking our pontoon out to just relax or going camping on the lake we will help tailor your rental to fit your needs. We also offer some higher end exciting tow-able tubes and air chairs/hydrofoils for rent to add to the excitement. What To Expect Onboard: Our boat can take up to 12 person with a 60HP Mercury Big Foot Outboard Motor. This boat is great for tubing and skiing. It has plenty of room and also a collapsible changing room. Frequently Asked Questions What is required to rent a boat? Do I need a boating license? You must be 21 years or older and you must have a valid driver’s license. You do NOT need a boating license to operate a boat on Lake Powell. We do reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who we feel doesn’t understand basic boating procedures. Do you offer hourly rentals or half day rentals? We do NOT offer hourly rentals or half day rentals. You are free to take the boat for however long you wish within the rental period 8 am-5:30 pm but you will be charged for a full day rental. What do we need to do to reserve a boat? You can contact us to book a boat. We do require a $75 deposit at the time of booking, and your deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE if you cancel at any time before your reserved date. You must be 21 or over. We will need the full name, phone number and email address of the person renting the boat at the time of the reservation. Please view our cancellation policy prior to making your reservation. By making a reservation you are agreeing to the terms of our cancellation policy. What is your cancellation policy? We do have a strict cancellation policy. If you plan on canceling your reservation you MUST CANCEL NO LATER THAN 7 DAYS PRIOR TO YOUR RENTAL. If you need to cancel your reservation please contact us. If you cancel no later than 7 days prior to your rental date you will only forfeit your $75 dollar deposit. If you cancel within the week of your rental you can be held responsible for the ENTIRE rental period. “NO SHOWS” WILL AUTOMATICALLY BE CHARGED FOR THE DAYS RESERVED, NO EXCEPTIONS! What is included in our rental? All of our rentals come with a small cooler (if needed), a 2 to 3 person towable tube (depending on your rental). We also include all of the safety equipment you will need for a safe boating experience on the lake. All equipment that is sent with your rental complementary or rented is the renters full responsibility and is expected to be return in the same condition as it was sent out. We do offer higher end inflatable tubes, airchair/hydrofoil, knee boards, wakeboards and skis for rent if you need extra equipment. What are the all of the costs associated with a boat rental? Boat Rental: Varies based on boat Tax of 9.9%: Varies based on rental price Deposit: $500 Refueling/Gas: Varies based on use Rental Vehicle/Valet: Rental/$55 OR Valet/$100 Park Entry Fee/Annual Pass: Park Fee Per Car/$30 OR Annual Park Pass $80/entry to all parks You will have the cost of your rental boat plus Page, AZ sales tax of 9.9%. There is also a $500 damage deposit held on the renters and taken at the time of your rental. If you will be renting our tow vehicle, it will be an additional $55 dollars a day on top of your rental cost. If you chose to have your rental boat Valet that will be an additional $100 on top of your rental cost. You will also have to refuel the the rental boat upon return. You will be charged a Glen Canyon Park fee of $30 per vehicle for entry into the park. If you have a National Inter-agency Annual Pass then you will be able to enter park without the $25 fee per vehicle. Please make sure you have the pass card with you upon entering. Why do I have to pay a security deposit? We do require a $500 damage deposit when renting our equipment. This is to cover any damages that occur to our boat rentals, and/or equipment when in your possession. Examples include, but are not limited to, damage to the prop, low fuel, lost keys, missing life vests and etc. Your damage deposit refund will be released by us following a full inspection of our property and the release of your fund back. The time frame can range from 2 to 7 days. Can you launch our boat? We do offer a boat valet service for an additional $100. We can deliver your rental boat to either Stateline Launch Ramp or Antelope Point Launch Ramp. We well schedule you a time to show up for valet that morning and also for pick up that evening. Return times for valet customers will differ depending on the time you are scheduled to show up at our shop that morning. We do, however, offer a tow vehicle for rent at $55 a day if you have experience with loading and unloading a boat. Where can I launch our boat rental? There are 3 launch ramps on Lake Powell near Page, Arizona: Wahweap Marina (Main Launch Ramp or Stateline Launch Ramp) and Antelope Point Marina (Public Launch Ramp). You will have to pay a park entry fee or show your annual pass to gain entry to any of these launch ramps. We do not allow any boat rental to be launched at Lone Rock or to be launched or used on the Colorado River. I am not comfortable launching/loading the boat is there any other option? Yes, there is another option. We offer a boat valet service for an additional $100. We highly recommend this service if you don’t have experience launching and retrieving boats. You must however still go through the boat check out/check in process before we will deliver the boat to the lake. We will also schedule you a time for drop off and pick up so please contact us to check available time slots for valet. When can we pick up our boat and when does it need to be returned? Our rental day begins at 8:00 am and ends at 5:30 pm Arizona time. Valet customers times may vary due to the fact we are towing you in and out of the water. You will have a fifteen minute grace period before you will be charged by the hour at $75 an hour. Also, please plan on taking a little extra time at pick up to go over the boat and sign waivers and also, a little time to check the boat in after dropping it off. We do not extend rental times for boats that are picked up/rented later in the day .If you wish to pick up your rental boat the night before you must make prior arrangements to do so and there will be an additional $75 dollar fee to do so. Do you have insurance? At this time we do not offer ANY insurance on our boats. You will be expected to sign a liability waiver at the time of pickup of your rental. The renter is responsible for ANY damage to the boat or items in the boat. You may be able to purchase third party insurance through your travel insurance or can also be purchased from GetMyBoat. What happens if it’s windy or raining? Weather is unpredictable, and it can change from one moment to the next. Your safety is our number one concern. Therefore, we reserve the right to cancel any rental, at or prior to check-in time, due to weather concerns, at OUR SOLE DISCRETION. You will be fully refunded for the time we have cancelled. Anytime after the boat is on the water, if the weather is to change, which it frequently does, we do NOT offer refunds due to those changing weather conditions. Do we need to fuel the boat? What type of fuel? Every boat rental comes with a full tank of fuel and the renter will be expected to return the boat full of fuel.You may fill up at any of the Marinas on the lake or you can fill the boat up in town which is considerably cheaper than down on the water. If you are using the Valet Service you may follow us back into town and refuel the boat with you at the pump or we can refuel in town and take it off of your damage deposit. We do require that you fill the boats with premium fuel. If you don’t return the boat full of fuel you will be charged a $25 fuel charge on top of the fuel costs. Do you have life jackets and are we required to wear them? We do supply everyone on the boat with life jackets. Children under the age of 12 are required by law to have them on at all times. When operating a PWC, life jackets must be worn at all times! We suggest wearing them at all times, however, because your safety is our major concern. Do you offer any discounts or special rates? We do offer US military/veterans discounts of 5% off your rental rate, you must have some form of proof or military ID at time of the rental for this discount. If you reserve a boat for five or more days you will receive a 10% percent discount on your rental rate. If you are US military you will receive 15% off for five or more days. Other than the above listed discounts we do not offer any other discounts or special rates. What happens if the boat breaks down? We take a lot of pride in maintaining and taking very good care of our rental boats but we can’t control everything. Mechanical failures do happen and will be dealt with on a case by case basis. If it is a breakdown due in part to normal mechanical failure, we will issue a refund and any cost accrued in having to have the boat towed in as a result of the failure. If the mechanical failure is found to be caused by the renter carelessness/inexperience causing the breakdown/damage, the renter will be held responsible for the full rental and all cost accrued with having the boat towed in and all cost to fix mechanical failure, if applicable.
