Boat Tour In Laos

Nam Ngum Lake Island Full Day Boat Tour Location: Nam Ngum Lake, Laos Your trip will begin at 9:00AM at the Wonderful Tours office in Vang Vieng. We will take a private truck 25km out to Thahua village. During the drive you’ll be able to see the beautiful limestone mountains and farms that surround the road. As we arrive in Thahua village, we’ll pass by the large fish market, where you can see local villagers selling their freshly caught fish and other foods. You will also get the chance to see the many speed boats and slow boats around the lake. Before we get to see Nam Ngum Lake’s many islands, we’ll pass by the small Phagoup village, where almost everyone is fishing. Depending on the size of the group, we’ll start to travel around the lake by either a large or small boat, stopping at one of the islands for lunch. After lunch you’ll be able to go for a swim whilst taking in the beautiful views of the lake and countryside. We will then take a ride on the boat to the dam, finally making our way back to Vang Vieng or Vientiane, depending on your next location.
