Weather-related cancellations: If staff determines conditions are unsafe (thunderstorms, lightning, high winds), rentals may be paused or canceled. You’ll often be offered the choice to reschedule, or full refund. - Light rain or passing showers typically don’t justify cancellations. Rentals might be delayed briefly, but not refunded unless severe weather ensues. - - You may be allowed to start late, but no extra time will be added unless agreed upon rental. Safety & Operational Rules - Age and ID requirements: - - drivers must be 18 and present a valid government-issued ID. - Waiver and briefing: Signing liability waivers and attending a safety briefing will take place before rental. - Alcohol/drugs: Strict zero-tolerance for impairment. If staff suspects intoxication, your booking may be canceled. - Safety gear: Wearing a Coast Guard–approved life vest is mandatory. We will provide you with a life vest - Security or damage deposits typically range around $250 to $500, taken at check-in and refunded if no damage occurs. - Damage liability: You’re responsible for repairs or replacement costs if the jet ski is damaged—whether from collision, capsizing, flipping, or misuse. Capsizing or flipping can result in steep fees, often starting around $250, or more depending on damage.
