Boat Ride To Saltés Island

Our full-day excursion is a perfect fusion of cultural visit and leisure spending the afternoon on the deserted island of Saltés, which will allow you to escape from crowded beaches and take a refreshing swim in complete privacy.

In the morning we visit El Muelle de las Carabelas as in the half-day excursion. On the return trip we pick up the food (each client chooses their menu from a local restaurant; which has a great variety of typical dishes of the area and also Moroccan food; includes two dishes, drink and dessert) that they bring us to the boat at the Canoas dock and we go to Saltes Island for lunch. There they will also enjoy several hours of leisure where they can take a walk around the island and collect thousands of shells, bathe, dive or do paddle surfing (free equipment provided by the company).

Know that we have a free customer pick-up service at the hotels in Punta Umbría, Huelva, El Portil and El Rompido. We can also meet directly at the Punta Umbría Canoe Pier.

Sail under the colors at sunset along the Ría de Punta Umbría, on a guided excursion knowing the fish market and the fishing boats in the area. Spend a relaxing moment with your friends or family, a wonder for the eyes where you can admire the sunset from the marshes accompanied by a plate of the well-known typical white prawns of Huelva and a glass of wine from the region (to choose between different wines). Tour the estuaries of Punta Umbría and Huelva aboard our boat “Sinea”, in a comfortable and relaxing tour, while we discover the fascinating history of Christopher Columbus.

The "journey" in time begins in the estuary of Punta Umbría knowing the fishing tradition of Punta Umbría. We sail through the Odiel marshes until we reach the foot of the Columbus monument, or monument to the Discovery Faith, which discovers the city of Huelva and which it represents. Right in this enclave are the mouths of the Tinto and Odiel rivers, known as Punta del Sebo.

Arriving at La Rábida, we are on the Muelle de las Carabelas to get on board the replicas of the first three ships that arrived to discover the lands of the new world…. (Entrance included in the price). They have the possibility to contemplate and visit the original reproductions of these discovery ships: La Pinta, La Niña and La Santa-María, which float in the port, as well as an audiovisual, a tour of the park and the museum. (The visit is 1h15).

How to end this meeting with Christopher Columbus? Well, on board a ship! To enjoy the experience even more, on the return we offer you two paddle surf boards moored behind the boat that will allow you to practice “surfing” back, which creates unforgettable moments of the excursion without a doubt.
