Cave Kayak Tour Kayakers of all experience levels can come along for this ride of a lifetime. We'll launch the kayaks just north of Cave Point Park and begin our paddle down the beautiful, rocky shores of Lake Michigan. On the way to the caves, guests will have the opportunity to gain confidence in their paddling as they pass by the wonderful lakefront scenery. After just over a mile, the caves will start to appear, and kayakers will be treated to amazing vistas that can only be viewed from the water. Pictures can hardly do justice to the sights and sounds you will experience while paddling inside these geologic wonders. If time should permit, our visit to the caves will be followed by a quick stop at the Whitefish Bay Dunes where beautiful expanses of beachfront rest in front of the marvelous sand formations. Death’s Door Bluff Kayak Tour The Death’s Door Bluff Kayak Tour is the perfect combination of serenity and adventure. On this tour, we see several of Door County’s secret spots including the Schooner Fleetwing Shipwreck, Native American Pictographs, rock cairns of Door Bluff County Park, the highest natural spot in Door County, and a view of Washington Island. Because we meet at the launch site, no time is spent driving to and from the tour location, making this tour a great option for someone who wants to spend as much time on the water as possible. As this tour is located farther North on the Peninsula, it is beyond the travels of most tourists in Door County. The secluded nature of the Death’s Door Bluff Tour makes this a great location for a private tour. Wetlands Kayak Tour This kayak tour is our most relaxing and family-friendly tour. Beginning on Logan Creek, we will paddle our way into the 865 acre Clark Lake bordered by Whitefish Bay Dunes State Park to the east and Ridge’s Sanctuary preserve to the north. This beginner kayaker’s paradise is our protected, safe, and warm location to learn to kayak while watching for Bald Eagles, Blue Herons, Swans, Egrets, and more. Ridges sanctuary bordering Logan’s creek contains a variety of habitats, including upland hardwood forest, lowland cedar-hemlock forest; Mature Beech, Hemlock, and Sugar Maple trees are found bordering the creek. In the Spring, wildflowers are outstanding on this location, with Hepaticas, Spring Beauties, Trilliums and Trout Lilies putting on a show from mid-April to the end of May.
