There is the odd cow wandering the streets and if you sit still you'll see a lot of wildlife both on land and in the water from monkeys, parrots, butterflies and lizards to dolphins whales and turtles. Shops are located in Welligama, just a 5 minute drive/bus ride away but you can get the basics in town and from our onsite shop.
