Flyboarding in Ireland Island Bermuda
What is Flyboarding?? Technically, the Flyboard is an accessory attached to your feet at one end, and to the jet end of a Personal Watercraft (PWC) at the other, using that jet thrust as propulsion, enabling you to fly through the air and water. At a thousand gallons of water per minute, over 60 PSI pressure and almost 400 pounds of lift, Flyboarding is pure adrenaline pumping, heart pounding and eye catching fun!! No one in Bermuda brings this level of safe. extreme excitement quite like we do here at Coconut Rockets. The brainchild of French Jet Ski Racer Franky Zapata, the FlyBoard was first developed in 2011 and made its way to the United States in the Spring of 2012 and to Bermuda in the Spring of 2013. Since then, it has taken the watersports world by storm. The Flyboard is connected to the PWC by a 55-foot long, 4” diameter fire hose that can propel the pilot up to over 35 feet above the surface of the water, secured onto your feet with Wakeboard Style Bindings. While the Pilot on the Flyboard is in complete control of navigation, your Coconut Rockets Flight Instructor on the PWC is in total control of thrust and your safety. This is truly a unique experience that you don’t want to miss and the best part is that most any able-bodied person can do it and the more you fly the better you become.
