If the tides allow, the guide will take you to cast for Permit on the local mangrove flats. These can reach up to 10 pounds! As well as that, you will be able to chase Tarpon in the inner channel of southern Belize. The crew will take you to calm turquoise waters just half an hour away. South Water Caye is all about pristine flats, coral shoals, and a beautiful seagrass lagoon with huge schools of Bonefish. Whether you are a complete beginner who has never held a fishing rod in their hand or an avid angler, your guide will gladly show you how fishing is done. They will make sure you have a hands-on experience you won’t soon forget. Enjoy hours of fly rod action at your own pace. Your trip will take place on a 25’ Mexican Panga boat, which is powered by an 80 HP Yamaha engine. The vessel is outfitted with everything you need for a successful day of fly fishing.
