Boat is at Antigua's Jolly Harbour, with access to supermarket, restaurants, fitness club, golf, tennis courts, pool, and a short walk to beautiful Jolly Beach. Guests can also choose to anchor at a more secluded bay, with paid skipper. Although built in 1992, the Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 44 has been extensively updated in 2017, and upgraded yearly, to keep up with the demands of our experienced customers. We upgrade sails and equipment regularly. One of the most famous of the Leeward Islands in the Caribbean, Antigua (ancient in Spanish) is famous for its incredible climate! Witness the beauty of this island, visiting many of the famous secluded bays and marinas, such as the English Harbour. With the dinghy you can go ashore and explore nearby reefs. The boat sleeps four, and the kitchen can be used to prepare most basic meals. The fridge allows to keep a moderate amount of perishable foods. Not only you can choose to be in a dock or at anchor in a gorgeous bay, but you can sail around the island and enjoy other beaches, snorkeling, etc. If at the dock, you have access to all the amenities like beach, restaurants, supermarket, etc. If anchored at a bay, limited access to land facilities but peace and quiet is guaranteed, with swimming, and snorkeling just by jumping overboard. Some land activities might have to be paid for. Guests are greeted by the boat manager/skipper, and taken to/from the boat. You set the neighborhood by selecting to stay at the dock or anchored in a beautiful spot of the island. We can advise guests on which bay to select so as to enjoy swimming, snorkeling, visiting a fort, or plain relaxing. It would be our pleasure to take you sailing around the beautiful island of Antigua. We'll make available to you an expert skipper from 9am to 5pm who will take you to a charming bay where you can snorkel, lie on the beach or explore a fort. This option is paid directly to the skipper upon arrival. It’s also important to note that Voilactus offers a very specific type of experience: one tailored more toward adventurous travelers than traditional luxury seekers. Originally optimized for competitive sailing, the vessel is fully equipped for sea readiness but intentionally minimalistic in its onboard accommodations. Guests are encouraged to think of their time aboard as a form of upscale “glamping”—with the added bonus of being on the water. While Voilactus includes essential amenities such as sleeping quarters, a basic galley, and ventilation via multiple fans, she does not feature air conditioning or screened windows. We do, however, provide bug repellents and encourage use of the marina’s well-maintained onshore facilities for showers and restrooms while docked. *** Please note, that even if the boat shows as not available, it might be reserved for a cruise or regatta, and extra crew members might be accepted on a daily and per person basis. For more info, message us through GetMyBoat. For this vessel, the average prices are: Lodging only: $160 per day + $90 cleaning fee - Dec 18 to Jan 18: $200/day Sailing: $290 per day if staying on boat. Day charter only is $ 350, including the skipper. No bareboat allowed. Bookings have to be made, at least with 3 days notice

My wife and I had an excellent day on the water with Josh and Kieran. We cruised the coast to see some sites before being dropped off (and picked up) in the dinghy for lunch at a restaurant we sought out along the route. Afterwards we cruised to Cades Reef to snorkel before heading in. The boat was was great and had more than enough space. Ed was friendly and communicative during/after the booking which made the process very easy. I highly recommend taking a trip out on one of Ed's boats!

10/10 highly recommend to anyone looking to have a private boat tour of the island. We picked to go to Cade's reef to snorkel and then explore one of the bays on the south end. The crew was very pleasant, knowledgeable and open to be flexible to want you want out of the experience.

Amazing trip, on a perfect boat for us. Very good with the kids!

Eduardo and his captain were amazing. Super attentive especially with my older mom who was super nervous about sailing and swimming, while accommodating my energetic kids. They’re amazing, even taught us how to sail, it was super relaxing and something I’ll never forget. Definitely a must do when you’re in Antigua. I reached out to multiple boat owners and this is by far exceed expectations!!
I've been sailing since the 1960’s, and skippering boats throughout the Caribbean and the Mediterranean since 1990. I've led cruises to most Caribbean islands from Cuba to Aruba. I have raced at most of the races, with competitive placings throughout. I have also crossed the Atlantic and Pacific oceans in similar boats! Looking forward to having you on board!

The quoted prices are: Daily rate is for a day charter from 9am to 5pm, with skipper included. Night rate is for the boat alone, at the dock, like a condo, without a skipper. This gives you the flexibility of hiring him only when you need him to sail the boat. For an extra fee he's available from 9am to 5 pm, and can take you to another bay.
