We are located on the banks of the North Toe River. This is a 60 mile long river system that includes wild trout fishing in the headwaters, General and Delayed Harvest trout fisheries throughout the upper reaches, and then smallmouth bass and musky fishing throughout the lower reaches. The North Toe River is one of the best kept secrets regarding smallmouth bass fisheries. Whether wading or floating, this is a river system that needs to be explored. In addition, our Spruce Pine shop is centrally located between the three highest peaks on the east coast: Grandfather Mountain, Mount Mitchell, and Roan Mountain. All three mountain regions contain vast amounts of trout waters teeming with wild rainbows, browns, and speckled trout. Additionally, the Catawba River TailwaterDelayed Harvest, Wilson Creek Delayed Harvest, Watauga River Tailwater Delayed Harvest, South Holston River Tailwater, Mitchell River Delayed Harvest, Ararat River Delayed Harvest, Helton Creek Delayed Harvest, South Toe River, Elk Creek Delayed Harvest, and the Curtis Creek Delayed Harvest are all within a few miles of our shop.
