Coral View Utila is unique on Utila in that it can cater for multiple styles of guests and clients with a niche for each and every one all at the same time. Established in 2006 we pride ourselves on offering the very best personal service, world class dive tuition and the latest diver education in Utila. Situated 5 minutes by vehicle (20 minute walk) to the west of Utila town and just before the island gets split by the entrance to Oyster Bed Lagoon. This provides our guests with a tranquil quiet location to relax and enjoy their vacation but still has the added advantage (over other resorts) of being able to travel in and out of Utila town freely with ease and without the need of a boat . Coral View Utila has its very own house reef which is superb for swimming, snorkeling and diving (scuba and free). We are one of very few dive centers on Utila that has this luxury. The house reef is serviced by our ocean front bar and sun deck, perfect for relaxing and watching that perfect sunrise or sunset. PADI Discover Scuba Diving Experience Have you ever wondered what it’s like to breathe underwater. If you want to find out but aren’t quite ready to take the plunge into a certification course, Discover Scuba Diving will let you try scuba to see if you like it. Most PADI dive shops offer a version of this program, either in a pool or other body of water. You might try it close to home or while you’re on vacation. While not an actual scuba certification, during the Discover Scuba Diving experience you’ll learn how to use scuba equipment in shallow water and get a quick and easy introduction to what it takes to explore the underwater world. We offer full SCUBA instruction through the Professional Association of Dive Instructors (PADI- the largest scuba certifying agency in the world) in many recreational courses. From try dives for beginners, all the way to certifying Divemaster and Instructor professionals with our in house Course Director. We at Coral View are the only dive operation with our own onsite access to the Caribbean reef, or lsquohouse reefrsquo that offers great diving and excellent snorkeling. We are also one of very few Utilan dive organisations to have our own salt water training pool on site.. We (and our resort) are located in Blue Bayou, a 10 minute stroll down a palm lined sand pathway that follows the shore to the beach. This, slight, distance allows our guests to be out of the noise and traffic that central Utila Town is privy to, without being too far to stroll in for a bite to eat and enjoy Utila by night.p pMostly catering to families and groups (large and small) looking for a personalized, professional dive experience we pride ourselves on a higher level of personal care and flexibility that cannot be afforded by other dive organisations on Utila.
