Evening Inlet & Sounds Trips (3 hrs) 1-6 people / June-August: $350 This is a great trip for first time families on the water with kids who want to get a taste of fishing or for just a quite sunset cruise. Less boat traffic and the cooler evening breeze makes this one of the most sought after trips. Its also a great trip for the fisherman who wants to catch the bite just before dark. What's Included: The prices includes all bait, fishing tackle, and fishing license. Appropriate clothing, shoes,sunscreen, and hats are recommended. You should bring your own food and drinks for the trip. Small coolers are allowed. Fly fisherman are welcome, but you must bring your own gear. *I do not clean fish, but the local marina's do offer it for a fee. What to Expect Onboard: This is where the blue water of the Gulfstream current meets the green water of the Labrador current, producing the best sport fishing on the east coast. Thru Oregon Inlet, you will be fishing some of the best waters along the Atlantic coast for Cobia, Striped Bass, Dolphin, Yellowfin tuna, Blue Marlin, White Marlin and many other species that swim our waters. In the sound, we catch smaller fish like Flounder, Trout, Red Drum, that are tons of fun on light tackle. We target certain fish depending on the season and weather conditions to insure you a great day of fishing. We offer half and full day charters or we can customize one that fits your schedule. All tackle and license are included on all trips. Whether you are the novice or experience fisherman, we can tailor a trip to suit you. It's overall length is 26"8" with a 9"1" beam which gives a nice smooth ride. Like all Cape Horns, the 23T is unsinkable and built to the highest structural standards. In the bow area, it has a 7", 700 quart fish box that will hold the day's catch. The center console has a porta-potty ( marine bathroom) for those all day trips. The Fin-Nagle is one of the fastest boats in the area and is powered by twin 250hp Yamaha 4 stroke outboards which get us to the fishing grounds quick and more fishing time for you. We have state of the art electronics by Simrad which includes radar, gps, chart plotter, side scan and down looking sonar. We also have twin VHF radios. We also carry extra safety equipment that includes an EPIRB (Emergency Position Indicating Radio Beacon) and a six-man life raft. We use only the best tackle by Penn reels, All Star rods, Berkley tackle, TGT Tackle, Rapala, American fishing Wire and Fitec castnets. We have room to carry over 20 rods and you are welcome to bring one of your favorites. I do allow fly rods, but you will have to bring your own gear. You are welcome to bring a small cooler, but leave your large one at the dock for you catch. We do have an onboard cooler that you are welcome to use. - The Captain at his discretion may cancel trips due to bad weather conditions. Any deposit would be refunded. Your Safety is our first concern. - Any charter cancelled 14 days before trip will be charged half price. Any charter not showing up at dock will be charged full price.
