About This Kayak Experience

We offer a variety of Guided Kayak Eco-Tours.  Our experienced and knowledgeable Guides are ACA Certified Kayak & SUP Instructors & Certified Florida Naturalists well versed on Florida’s ecology and natural history & skilled at spotting local wildlife!  We provide PFD/Life Vest, Paddle, basic instruction, water, snack, sunscreen & bug spray. Reservations are required. Departure times and locations vary with season and daylight savings time. Please inquire as to exact departure times. Early Bird Dolphin and Manatee Tour

Sunrise is a colorful and revitalizing time to be on the water! Witness Matlacha Pass Aquatic Preserve come to life & join us as we identify and share information about coastal & wetland birds and sea creatures that make the estuary their home! We may encounter Dolphins, Manatee, Stingray, Skates, Sea Turtles, Great Blue Herons, Osprey and Bald Eagles!  Approximately 2.5 hours long.  

Mangrove Maze Guided Eco Tour

Join us as we provide a guided exploration of the mangrove wilderness on part of the Great Calusa Blueway Paddling Trail! Our mangrove coastline in the Matlacha Pass Aquatic Preserve provides sustenance and harborage for a variety of birds and marine life! Our experienced & knowledgeable Guides are Certified Florida Naturalists dedicated to learning and teaching the history, ecology & sustainability of  Pine Island Sound. Learn about the Calusa Indian Heritage and their environment when they paddled these very same waters over a thousand years ago!! Approximately 2.5 hours long.  

Sunset Kayak Tour

Join us as we paddle into the calm waters of Matlacha Pass and gaze over the Sunset as it cascades over the water, disappearing into the distance & leaving an array of magical colors in the sky! This is a perfect opportunity to unwind from your day! Paddle with us as we slowly meander through mangrove shrouded trails and discover what unique and beautiful creatures roam the preserve at dusk! Approximately 2.5 hours long.
