Best Rental experience ever! Gary is one of a kind, we call him ol' school cool! lol. Felt like I've known him for years. Awesome guy, awesome boat! We will never rent from anywhere else in this area again. Best value by far, Gary includes gas, big cooler full of ice and water, a bangin bluetooth loud speaker for music, floats for the kids and so much more! It would have cost us upwards of $600 to rent a boat this nice from some big rental company. So glad we found Gary, saved us a lot of money, not to mention all the extras he supplies that the others don't and the one of a kind experience he gave us! We rented his boat all day for ours sons 12th bday on June 15th, it was one of the best trips we've had and Gary really helped make the experience awesome. Thanks again Gary, the kids are still talking about you and the boat!! See ya next time.

This was our first real vacation with some friends & Gary really made It feel special. His hospitality was off the charts & as Texans we appreciate that so much. His boat was clean, safe & we enjoyed every minute on it. He was hilarious, friendly, professional & overall genuinely an amazing, honest, kind person. It felt as though he was a long time friend of ours lol We miss the guy already & will definitely be renting from him again! Thanks Gary!!!

I cannot say enough good things about Gary and his boat. We had our whole family from age 2 to 86 on the boat and ALL LOVED IT! Gary was so nice and pleasant and so easy to work with. He gave us an amazing “tutorial” before we left and was so very kind. We will keep renting from him every chance we get!!

Additional Terms & Information

Is the Pontoon Hard to Operate?     While most of our renters have some boating experience, some do not.  Either way, we go through how to safely operate the pontoon and make sure you are comfortable before leaving the dock. Age to Operate Pontoon:  You must be at least 21 years of age to RENT our pontoon.  Licenses Required:   No licenses needed to operate pontoon if you were born before 1/1/1988.  Anyone wishing to OPERATE our pontoon who was born on or after 1/1/1988 is required by the State of Florida to take a Boaters safety course.  The course is available online at various prices.  I think there's even a FREE course offered you should be able to find by searching for Florida Boaters Course Free.  Remember to bring a copy of your certificate of completion.  Any age can ride as your guest on the pontoon. What Should I Bring with Me? There will be a cooler with ice and a case of water, but be sure to bring anything else you'd like to eat or drink. Fruit, such as Cherries, strawberries, cut-up watermelon, and pineapple are always a favorite!  Also… don’t forget your sunglasses, towels, sunscreen, water toys such as a snorkel & mask, small net, etc.   Are We Allowed to Bring Alcohol? Yes, but the boat operator should not drink alcohol.  Just like with driving a motor vehicle on land, there is technically no safe amount of alcohol that someone can drink and then operate a boat.  Florida law specifically and clearly states that anyone operating a boat or using boating accessories like water skis, sailboards, or any similar device while intoxicated is breaking the law. As most Floridians know, the state considers a person with a blood-alcohol level of 0.08 or higher to be intoxicated. While that is the legal limit that is tested for, the law also states that a blood alcohol concentration of 0.05 to 0.08 accompanied by other abnormal or dangerous behavior may also be considered under the influence. Any person operating a vessel on Florida waters is eligible to be tested for drugs or alcohol if an officer requests, which means it’s not subject to dangerous or risky behavior or any other factors. Anyone who refuses to test can be fined $500.   Where am I Allowed to Go? You are allowed to go from the opening of the Pensacola Pass to the opening of the Orange Beach Pass.  Pontoons are not allowed in the Gulf of Mexico.  You will want to stay a safe distance from the Pensacola Naval Air station, which is on the north side of the Sound (a waterway) in front of the Pensacola Pass.     Am I responsible for Gas? Yes.  The pontoon will have a full tank when you start.  If you should need to refill during the rental, there are marinas where you can refuel close to the launch dock.   Who Has to Wear a Life Jacket? While having the PFDs (personal flotation device) onboard is required, the state of Florida does not require adult passengers to be wearing them at all times, although it is recommended as a precautionary measure. The state of Florida urges all people onboard a boat to wear a life jacket. However, children under the age of six years old must wear a USCG-approved Type I, ii, or III personal flotation device (life jacket) at all times while on a vessel less than 26 feet in length.    WE WANT YOU TO HAVE A GREAT TIME!    ____________________________
