Guided Kayak Tour on Lake Powell

With 170 miles of water and 1,900 miles of shoreline, Lake Powell offers virtually limitless possibilities for kayak touring. Many kayakers who paddle Lake Powell keep to the main channel, but we feel the most beautiful, enchanting aspects of this lake are in the quiet narrows and secret recesses of Glen Canyon. We takes visitors past the popular, wide bays—often crowded with houseboats and jet skiiers—and expertly guides them through the virtual wilderness of Lake Powell’s hidden side canyons. We’re pleased to offer a variety of trip options, as well as customized trips, to provide every visitor a fascinating, fulfilling kayaking experience. Half Day Trip: ($90 per adult / $75 per child 12 and under) Our exciting, 3–4-hour guided kayak trips include a 3–6-mile paddle, as well as time for hiking and swimming. We provides kayaks, paddles, life jackets, snacks, and refillable water. This is a great way to sample the majesty of Lake Powell whether its your first time in a kayak or you have years of experience. Full Day Trip: ($200 per Adult $150 / per child 12 and under) On our full-day kayak trip, a support vessel transports kayakers and gear up the lake to prime kayaking areas. We provides all kayaks and related equipment, guide, a full lunch, snacks and cold drinks for your journey. Full-day trips depart from Antelope Point Marina in the Glen Canyon National Recreation Area. We start with a morning boat ride up-lake, then paddle a slot canyon such asLabyrinth Canyon, Face Canyon, and thePadre Bay Area. Hiking and swimming options abound, weather conditions and group dynamics determine our hike/swim possibilities. The slot canyons and sandstone ridges of Lake Powell provide limitless opportunities for fun. The day finishes off with a relaxing boat ride back to Antelope Point Marina. We also offer over night trips and multi day trips.
