for $15 per person/2 hours in Galle, Southern Province. The Surfing Lesson For Beginners in Galle Includes a Board rent fee. The lesson includes 20 minutes of ground instructions where you will learn basic pop up and paddling techniques, board positioning. All other time you will spend in the water with your instructor catching the waves 🌊. What is Expected in a private surfing Lesson in Galle  Before water practice – in our 20-minute land part of the lesson, you will teach and practice a variety of different stand-up techniques. That you will need to know before heading out into the ocean to catch your waves. Wave Riding – after you have learned the basics of safety and stand-ups, it’s time to practice your new skills on the water! Spend the rest of the time of the surf lesson in the ocean with your instructor. Wave  Reading Skills– basic knowledge of the wave reading including white color waves and green color waves. Safety – water safety and ocean awareness, basic ocean safety paddling the waves, and positioning on the board.
