Our favorite non fishing trip runs North in the Gulf of Mexico (weather permitting) from Freeport to Galveston, and then cruises the Intracoastal Waterway from Galveston back to Freeport. The trip takes about 3 hours, but many groups enjoy stopping at the Galveston Yacht Club for a waterside snack or meal. Some guests time their trips to include sunset at the Freeport Inlet, where frolicking porpoises sometimes join in and chase the boat. Guests are welcome to bring their food and beverages of choice, or we offer catering at additional cost. The yacht is outfitted with Sirius XM below and topsides. Many enjoy riding in the flybridge for a quiet, long range view. The cabin stays cool with AC, and the upper decks offer ample shade. Direct TV, microwave, and seating for 6 below. The aft cockpit has two large built in coolers for keeping beverages and setting up a bar.
