What You Can Expect:

Scuba Diving Half Day Trip DSD Discover Scuba Diving 3400THB (8:00am-13:00pm or 13:00pm-18:00pm)

Phi Phi Island is known as one of the most famous diving spots in Thailand, which has beautiful corals and tropical fish. There is also a high chance of seeing a sea turtle and reef sharks (don’t worry…they are harmless).

This trip is suitable for beginners, without any or little experience with scuba diving. The instructor will be with you at all times guiding you through your dives. No experience is necessary. If you are licensed diver please see our Fun Dive Trips.

The trip includes two dives in two different locations, approximately 45 min each. We visit Bida Nai, Bida Nok, Viking Cave and also Malong/ Palong in high season. We only work with local professional diving instructors with years of experience, a maximum of 2 customers for one instructor.

Itinerary:

7.30am- 8am – Meet in our dive shop for coffee and briefing (or 13:00pm for an afternoon trip)

8.00am-8.30am –boat departs from the port. Please don't forget to bring 400THB for national park fee which is collected at the port. We are the last boat to leave which is our advantage. When other boats finish their first dive and leave the site we arrive. Less people means more relaxing diving and less divers means more fish to see

Dive 1 – usually we start the first dive with Bida Nok

Lunch break- we stop outside of Maya bay for lunch break, you can relax on the top deck or enjoy more snorkeling

Dive 2 – one of the phi phi lay dive sites, most likely Malong or palong Bay

13.00pm-13.30pm– boat return to the pier and we go to the office for debriefing

We always come back in time in case you want to leave phi phi island on the same day you can catch the 15.50pm ferry to Krabi/ Aonang/ Railay to 14.30pm/ 15.30pm ferry to Phuket

• Scuba Diving Half Day Trip I Fun Dive For Certified Divers 2500THB (8:00am-13:00pm or 13:00pm-18:00pm)

If you coming to Phi Phi you must join us for a fun dive. We run daily, and you can choose morning or afternoon trip. Morning trip starts at 8 am and comes back around 13.30 pm, afternoon diving starts at 13.30 pm and comes back around 18.00 pm.

All trips take place in the national marine park which is only 30 minutes away from our dive shop. During the high season, we usually visit Koh Bida Nai/Koh Bida Nok and dive sites around Phi Phi Lay, Malong/Palong Bay. If you are interested in any other dive location or wreck dives please let us know and we will check the availability for you.
During low season we visit Viking cave Wall and other dive sites around Phi Phi Lay.
All dives locations depend on the weather conditions.

• Scuba Diving Open Water Course

Get your scuba diving certification with the PADI® Open Water Diver course – the world’s most popular and widely recognized scuba course. Millions of people have learned to scuba dive and gone on to discover the wonders of the aquatic world through this course. To enroll in a PADI Open Water Diver course (or Junior Open Water Diver course), you must be 10 years old or older. You need adequate swimming skills and need to be in good physical health. No prior experience with scuba diving is required.

The PADI Open Water Diver course consists of three main phases:

Knowledge Development ( on your own or in our dive shop) to understand basic principles of scuba diving
1 Confined Water Dive to learn basic scuba skills
4 Open Water Dives in Koh Phi Phi National Park to use your skills and explore!
In the Open Water Diver course, you learn to use basic scuba gear, including a mask, snorkel, fins, regulator, buoyancy control device and a tank.

Open Water Course is normally completed over the duration of 3 days but if you staying longer on the Island you can take your time.

DAY 1 You can start your theory with Open Water Manual, watch the video and we start with the first dive in a confined water (outside of Cabana Hotel)

DAY 2 In the morning you will do your first two national marine park dives and in the afternoon/evening you can revise your theory and discuss with your teacher

DAY 3 You will complete your diving by two more dives and in the afternoon you will take your final exam (if you are leaving Phi Phi Island on your 3rd day, you can take the final exam in the evening of the 2nd day).

We always come back from the morning diving on time in case you want to leave Phi Phi Island on the same day you can catch the 15.50pm ferry to Krabi/ Aonang/ Railay to 14.30pm/ 15.30pm ferry to Phuket.

If you are not native English speaker and not confident passing the course in English, please let us know and we will check the availability of a teacher in your own language and provide you with an Open Water Manual in your language if available.
