1. Advance Booking Requirement - No Last-Minute Bookings: Due to the logistics of manifest registration and seat securing with local operators, all bookings must be made at least 24 hours in advance. * Same-day walk-ins are not accepted through this platform to ensure we only provide verified and safe transport options. 2. Cancellation & No-Show Policy - Client Cancellation: Full refund if cancelled 48 hours before departure. A 50% refund is provided for cancellations made between 48 and 24 hours. No refunds for cancellations made less than 24 hours before the trip. - No-Show: If you are not at the pier at the designated check-in time (30 minutes before departure), the boat will depart without you to maintain the schedule. No-shows are non-refundable. - Changes to Departure Time: A change fee of $30,000 COP per ticket applies to all time-change requests if same day. Changes are subject to seat availability on the new vessel. - Weather Cancellations: The Amazon experiences frequent rain; boats are covered and will travel in light-to-moderate rain. Only in the event of extreme weather or river closures by the Port Captain will we offer a full refund or a free reschedule. 3. Safety & Vessel Rules - Life Jackets: For your safety and to comply with Colombian Maritime Law, life jackets must be worn at all times while the vessel is in motion. - Captain’s Authority: The Captain has the final say on all safety matters. Non-compliance with safety instructions may result in removal from the vessel without a refund. - Movement: Passengers must remain seated while the boat is at high speeds. - Substances: For the safety of all passengers, the consumption of hard liquor or illegal substances is strictly prohibited on express shuttle runs. 4. Luggage & Documentation - Identification: A physical ID or Passport (or a very clear digital photo) is mandatory for the passenger manifest. You may be denied boarding by the Port Authority without it. - Luggage Limit: Tickets include one standard suitcase/backpack (up to 15kg) and one personal item. Excess luggage must be declared in advance and may incur an extra fee. 5. Local Fees (Not Included) - Please be advised that as a broker, your ticket covers the transport only. The Puerto Nariño Tourism Tax (approx. $15,000–$20,000 COP) is a government mandate and must be paid in cash by the passenger upon arrival at the village.
