Recommended items to bring as you wish: food/drinks/snacks, waterproof jacket, sunblock, polarized sun glasses, sailing gloves, closed footwear, swimwear if plan on swimming, towel.  A non-drowsy dramamine 30 min before leaving can prevent sea sickness incase that is a concern that is one of the best ways to prevent it.
