Enjoy canoeing in Pontwelly, Wales! • Introduction to White Water: A great weekend designed to introduce you to paddling on moving and white water. Our coaches will introduce you to moving water and white water paddling techniques, which you will be able to put into practice on our local rivers. The course starts at 9.00 am each day. It is hoped that at the end of the 2 days you will be happy to run rapids and have a good understanding of safety techniques. Course Dates: March 19th and 20th, September 24th and 25th Pre-requisites: You should be a capable flat-water paddler. Where Will Stay: You can stay in the centre - all bedding is provided. Price: - £85 GBP per person for 2 days Price includes accommodation, equipment, and instructors. • White Water Weekend: A great weekend designed to improve your white water paddling and possibly paddle some new rivers. I am originally from Llanelli and grew up as a keen skateboarder, which is still a big passion in his life. I completed my NVQ level 3 in outdoor education in 2002 and also picked up the student of the year award from the CCTA Graig college in Llanelli. i am a BCU level 4 inland kayak coach, 5 star paddler and have my MLTB single pitch award and mountain leader, I also hold a variety of additional NGB awards.
