At the time of pickup, craft condition, fuel levels, and functionality will be reviewed and signed off by the owner and renter. Approved bodies of water: - The renter may operate the craft in any fresh water lake or reservoir within the state of Utah with the exception of Lake Powell (due to the quagga mussel infestation). Due to State mandated dry time requirements, if it is determined that the craft was operated in Lake Powell, the renter will be responsible for lost revenues (up to the maximum security allowance) incurred during the required drying times. For details, visit stdofthesea.utah.gov/ais/what-can-you-do/ Craft rules - Do not beach the craft...an anchor is provided for off shore mooring. - Do not run the engine in water less than 36 inches. This will prevent debris from being pulled up into the impeller which can cause costly damage to the craft. - The renter is responsible for returning the craft with the same amount of fuel that was present at the time of pick-up. Failure to do so will result in a charge for a full tank of gas. - Ensure that all accessories are returned with the craft, which may include, but is not limited to: anchor, paddle, life jackets, flag, and safety items (extinguisher and emergency kit) - When the craft is loaded on the trailer, ensure that the drain plug is pulled out and that rear straps are securely fastened. Cancellation and No-show Booking Policies - Weather cancellation: It is the responsibility of the renter to be aware of upcoming weather forecast and conditions. Weather cancellations are subject to the standard cancellation policy. - All cancellations prior to 7 days before the rental date will be refunded 100%; cancellations between 4-6 days prior to the rental date will be refunded at 50%. - If the renter fails to show for pickup, no refund will be provided. If there will be a delay in the pick-up time, please communicate that to the owner.
