My name is Paulo Sottomayor, I’m the manager of Douro Yacht Experiences and I’ll be your Skipper! I always dreamed of having a top-notch yacht service in one of the most beautiful rivers in the world, the Douro River. Being from Porto, with a deep local knowledge, specialized in luxury travel, wine tourism and gastronomy, having expertise in tourism since 2011 (Braga Tours); 2013 (Wine Tourism in Portugal) and 2018 (Luxury Tours Portugal) and events since 2006, with a privileged relationship with the finest partners in this region, I’ve decided to show to my guests the amazing sights, flavors, textures and sounds to soak up in this northerly section of sun-drenched Portugal.

Additional Terms & Information
Supplements are paid by the client separately. Cancellations less than 5 days before the experience or no-show: 100% of the total booking price will be charged. Tours may be cancelled due to weather conditions. Prices include insurance and welcome drink- Smoking is not allowed inside the Yacht. Bathing and diving may be possible. However, and for this to occur safely, the Yacht must be immobilized, and this must be expressly authorized by the skipper. We are not responsible for any damage or accident that occurred outside the Yacht. If any passenger is notoriously under de influence of alcohol, narcotics, or any disabling substances, at the beginning or during the service, we reserves the right to not allow the passengers to remain on board, refraining from participating in the contract service, not giving the right to any kind of refund, total or partial of the amount paid.
