🛥️ HOUSE RULES Eligibility - Renter must be 21+ years old - Boating experience required - Florida Boating Safety ID required if born in 1988 or later - Valid government ID required at check-in Boat Operation - This is a self-drive (bareboat) rental — NO CAPTAIN - Renter is fully responsible for safe operation of the vessel - Follow all USCG and Florida boating laws - Stay within approved navigation areas (Intracoastal / local waters only) Passengers - Maximum 8–10 passengers (strictly enforced, per regulations) - No additional guests beyond booked amount - Children must be supervised at all times Fuel - Fuel is NOT included - Boat must be returned with the same fuel level - Fuel charges may be deducted from the security deposit if needed Prohibited 🚫 No smoking or vaping 🚫 No drugs or illegal substances 🚫 No pets (unless approved in advance) 🚫 No towing (tubes, wakeboards, skis) 🚫 No beaching the boat 🚫 No night operation unless approved Care of the Boat - Treat the boat as your own - Any damage, loss, or excessive cleaning will be charged to renter - Late returns may result in additional fees Weather - Rentals may be delayed or rescheduled due to unsafe weather conditions - Final decision for safety rests with the owner ❌ CANCELLATION POLICY (Owner-Friendly & Platform-Safe) Standard Cancellation - Free cancellation up to 48 hours before rental start time - Cancellations within 48 hours are non-refundable Same-Day Cancellation / No-Show - No refund for same-day cancellations or no-shows Weather Cancellations - If weather conditions are deemed unsafe (high winds, storms, small craft advisory), renter may: - - Reschedule for a future available date, or - Receive a full refund (owner decision based on conditions) Mechanical Issues - In the unlikely event of a mechanical issue preventing the rental, renter will receive: - - A full refund, or - Option to reschedule
