Kayak Day Rental in Laguna de Apoyo, Nicaragua

DAY TRIPS As it is located at only half an hour from Managua, and less than 20 minutes from Granada, this is an ideal destiny for day trips. Gather some friends and organize your own BBQ, or just come over to sunbath on the floating dock or explore the lagoon’s shores by kayak, or try our delicious tropical cocktails... Day visitors only pay the entrance fee which includes the use of all our facilities (ranchos, kayaks, giant inner-tubes, life vests, free coffee, comfortable chairs, hammocks, BBQ pits, etc.). Day visitors are welcome seven days a week from 8AM onwards, and are allowed to stay until 6PM. Normally, there’s no need to make a reservation for day visits. Price: The entrance fee for day visitors is $ 6 (plus 15% taxes). Children under 5 years enter for free. We also offer Rooms rental, in case you’d like to stay. Contact us for more information.

The Monkey Hut in Laguna de Apoyo, Nicaragua, is a beautiful resort in the middle of a pristine nature reserve, only half an hour away from Managua, and less than 20 minutes from Granada. The resort, which derives its name from the many resident howler monkeys, is situated at the crater's crystal clear lagoon and offers visitors spectacular views of the beautiful surroundings. Visitors can stay in one of our three recently (December 2013) renovated double-sized private rooms, our spacious lake-side cabaña or our spacious and luxurious dormitory, or can simply stay for the day. Enjoy swimming and the floating dock, sunbathing, kayaking, drifting around in giant inner tubes, amazing sights from the room terraces, free wireless internet, BBQ, cool drinks, free coffee, and much more...
