Kayaking in Sumner Maine

You will be renting two 1 person kayaks (red + green) for use on Labrador Pond in Sumner Maine. The pond is small, very quiet and only accessible via the very small public beach which is directly across the road from the kayak's location. Rental includes paddles as well as life jackets which for your safety I would request that you wear while kayaking. There is some wonderful fishing in Labrador pond so make sure you have your license with you to partake. There are no motors on the pond with the rare exception of a small trolling motor. If there are 10+ people on the water it would be considered a busy day here. There is enough parking in the driveway for one vehicle with no trailer next to my vehicle. If you are new to kayaking the pond is really gentle behavior wise. If you need help carrying the kayaks across the road I am happy to lend a hand and getting you launched. I am also happy to answer any questions you may have. In addition to fishing there is some amazing wild life to see, I can point you in the right direction once you are here. Besides that I would just ask that you be respectful of nature and the opportunity to enjoy this hidden gem of a pond here in Maine.
