OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION AND FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS: DO I NEED A BOAT OPERATOR'S LICENSE TO DRIVE A BOAT IN FLORIDA? We recommend that all customers complete a boating safety course. The course doesn't take long and is easy to complete. It also serves your safety, that of your companions and everyone else who is out on the water. All customers born on or after January 1, 1988 must meet the following criteria to operate a motorboat of 10 or more horsepower: Successful completion of a boating safety course Possession of a Boating Safety Education Identification Card issued by the FWC Yes. All of our boats have fully comprehensive insurance with a $1,000 deductible. Insurance is already included in the price. SeaTow towing insurance is also included in the price. WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE PRICE? Our all inclusive prices include orientation, cleaning, insurance and SeaTow. All prices do not include sales tax of 6.5%. The fuel is paid for by the customer. There are no hidden fees with us. DOES THE BOAT NEED TO BE BROUGHT BACK WITH A FULL TANK OF TANK? Yes. It is imperative that the boat is returned with a full tank. If the return/drop-off is not full, we will charge $7 per gallon and an additional $100 service fee. WHAT HAPPENS IF THE BOAT HAS A MECHANICAL PROBLEM? In the unlikely event that your booked boat has a mechanical problem, we will do our best to provide you with a replacement boat as quickly as possible. If a replacement is not available, you will receive a prorated refund. All of our boats have SeaTow membership. This means that if the boat needs to be towed back to our docks, you will not be charged. WILL YOU DELIVER THE BOAT TO MY HOLIDAY ACCOMMODATION? Yes, we also offer delivery to your holiday home upon payment of a service fee. However, this service is only available to the Cape Coral area. IN CASE OF CANCELLATION, THE FOLLOWING TERMS APPLY: More than 60 days before the start of the rental period: 100% money back Less than 60 days before the start of the rental period: 80% money back Less than 30 days before the start of the rental period: no money back. We will do our best to rebook your booking if you need to cancel at short notice. If we find another customer, we will refund you 80% of the rent. If the booking is canceled by the provider due to hurricanes or other unforeseen circumstances - such as damage to the boat - customers will receive a full refund. Unfortunately, cancellation requests due to inclement weather (excluding hurricanes) cannot be accepted.
