Boating Rental Terms To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests, please review our rental terms below. These include important information on weather cancellations, arrival expectations, safety requirements, and boat use policies. Rental Policies: 1. Reservation & Payment: - Full payment is required to confirm your booking. - A security deposit may be held for damage or late returns. 2. Cancellation & Weather Policy: - Free cancellations up to 48 hours before your reservation. - If weather conditions are deemed unsafe by the operator (e.g., thunderstorms, high winds), you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule. - Light rain or cloudy weather does not qualify for cancellation. 3. Late Arrivals & No-Shows: - Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled time. - Late arrivals may result in shortened rental time. - No-shows or cancellations within 48 hours are non-refundable. 4. Safety Requirements: - The captain or renter must be at least 21 years old with valid photo ID. - All operators must follow Coast Guard safety regulations and wear life jackets when required. - No boating under the influence of drugs or alcohol is permitted. 5. Boat Rules: - No smoking, glass containers, or illegal substances on board. - Pets allowed only with prior approval. - Renter is responsible for any damage to the boat or equipment. - Do not exceed the boat’s passenger capacity. 6. Fuel Policy: - Boat will be provided with a full tank of gas. - If returned with less fuel, the cost of fuel plus a service charge will be deducted from deposit. 7. Cleanliness: - Please return the boat in the condition it was received. Excessive cleaning may result in a fee.
