The Starcraft C-Star 1700 bowrider is powered by a Mercury 115 HP outboard and can accommodate up to 6 adults with gear. Nice clean boat in great condition. 3 seats in the stern, 2 captain's chairs mid-vessel, and 3 seats in the bow. Boat can be picked up from our camp dock on lower basin. For weekly rentals, delivery to your dock is possible. $750 per day (8hours) or $2500 per week. I am currently not offering hourly or half day rentals. Rental includes 1st tank of gas. REQUIREMENTS: (by state) ME: A NASBLA certified boater safety course is REQUIRED by the state of Maine for operators born after January 1, 1999. Boat US offers free courses online and we recommend the curriculum for the state of Maine. The course takes 2-3 hours to complete, is NASBLA certified, and once you pass the test the certificate is accepted by several states via reciprocity. I have never used this app before and was a bit apprehensive. I could not have been more pleased. Sven was extremely responsive, so helpful and offered a great value for the experience. He took the time to review the operation of the boat and send videos. Sven was friendly and always responded quickly if we had questions. We will be renting again next year!

Can't say enough good things about Sven. I rented his boat for my wife's birthday. Sven was great to deal with and his boat was perfect for my wife and I to cruise around Moose Pond.

Working with Sven was so easy. He answered all of my questions quickly. He was understanding and worked to ensure my family had a great experience. We were able to use a tube and I know he offered the use of When rain was forecasted for our rental day he reached out to reschedule for the next day which had much better weather. I would definitely recommend renting a boat from Sven and enjoy all the beauty of the lake.

What a great summer experience! Loads of cruising and water skiing on a beautiful pond. Despite a couple of steering issues (easily solved by some teamwork problem solving), we couldn’t have been happier (maybe Sven could have ordered up more Sun). Sven walked us through everything we needed to know about his boat (including videos). He was always accessible via text or phone if needed. The tubing/kneeboarding and skiing were the highlight of my family’s week (and the pain in my back from personally kneeboarding at 53). Should we come up to Moose Pond again (which is quite possible), apart from the house, he will be the first phone call. Worth every penny. Thanks again Sven!

Terms and Conditions 1. Assumption of Risk. Renter acknowledges that the activities for which the Boat is designed include inherent dangers, including the risk of bodily injury and/or death. Renter assumes and accepts all risks associated with the use of the Boat. 2. Acceptable Use. Renter agrees and acknowledges that he/she will be the sole operator of the boat, and will use the Boat in a careful, safe and conscientious manner. Renter shall at all times observe and adhere to any rules and guidelines posted by Boat Owner, and any applicable laws or regulations. Renter shall be responsible at all time for the safety of any and all passengers in the Boat. 3. Prohibited Activities. Renter shall not violate any of the following rules and regulations during his/her operation of the Boat: There is no smoking while in the Boat. There are no alcoholic beverages or consumption of alcohol while operating the Boat. Boat Owner reserves the right to inspect any coolers, bags or other containers belonging to the Renter or any of Renter’s passengers. There are no pets permitted in the Boat 4. Children. Any children under the age of 12 in the boat must wear a life jacket at all times. 5. Unsafe Use. If at any time Boat Owner determines that Renter has engaged in an unsafe or hazardous use of the Boat, Boat owner may board the Boat, or otherwise notify the Renter that it is immediately terminating the rental. Upon termination, Renter must return the Boat to the designated docking area immediately. If the rental is terminated for unsafe or hazardous use, Renter will not be refunded his/her security deposit. Boat Owner shall determine, in its sole discretion, whether any behavior or activity is “unsafe or hazardous.” 6. Condition of Boat upon Return. The Renter shall return the Boat to the designated docking area clean, free of garbage and debris, a full tank of gas (unless pre-purchased) and in the same condition as it was in when given to Renter. Renter shall be responsible for any damage caused to the Boat during the rental period. Boat Owner shall retain any portion (or all) of Renter’s security deposit as necessary to cover repairs for such damages. To the extent that damages to the Boat exceed the amount of the security deposit, Renter shall be billed by Boat Owner for the full amount of damages caused by Renter during the rental period, including reasonable attorney’s fees.
