Sailing Lessons:

Sailboat handling lessons are adapted to your particular needs and skill level including instruction on your own vessel or one of ours. Captain Chuck has had years of experience in sailing instruction to a wide range of ages; he teaches in a relaxed, unintimidating and comfortable style. Captain Chuck is an American Sailing Association certified instructor with years of sailing experience.

Captained Cruise

Plan a morning, afternoon or a sunset cruise for two aboard Cornelia. Soak up the sun as you quietly sail the waters of Pine Island Sound. Watch for Dolphin, Manatee and other native wildlife.

What To Expect Onboard:

The "Cornelia" is our wonderful little 19 feet West Wight Potter, a centerboard, main and jib boat. Perfect for sailing classes or an intimate cruise for two.

Designed by Herb Stewart, "Potters" are popular tough little boats that have been in production for more than 35 years. They are sensitive, easy-to-sail, shallow drafts boats with hard-chines and high free-board to help keep you dry.

Cornelia is a great boat on which to learn sailing techniques. Cornelia departs from and returns to the Bokeelia Pier and Docks at the north end of Pine Island.

The captain reserves the right to cancel or postpone a cruise at his discretion due to weather conditions. Should the weather change while out on a cruise that forces an early return to the dock, the costs will be prorated.
