As a naval architect, marine engineer, mechanic and skipper, Walter Brun has built “BALOO” to specifications which are ideally suited to the needs and conditions of the tropical environment. His boats have all the relevant sea worthiness certificates, fishing licenses, marine insurance, navigation – safety equipment and comply with international standards. Baloo is equipped with the best quality fishing gear from Shimano and Penn International which will help to play and catch your fish. Baloo is a 12 meters Fly bridge Cruiser and was launched in November 1991. She is registered with the Kenya Ports Authority and insured in Mombasa. Baloo is a GRP (Fiberglass) construction. She is Twin controlled from Fly bridge and Tuna Tower. The propulsion is by Twin Volvo Penta AD41 6cyl. Marine Diesel and total 400 Hp. Top Speed 30 knots/60 Km/h. Cruising 300 miles range at 7 knots. Diesel capacity 400 lt. Water capacity 200 Liters. 3 Berth 1.90m x 0.80m. Deck-saloon 16m2, Fish-deck 10m2. Marina Yacht Toilet and fridge, Bilge pump 12Volts.
