A Mumby design, S/Y Mahayana is a 51 Ft Aluminium Catamaran built in Langkawi Malaysia and fitted out here in Phuket. Due to her Aluminium structure, she is both light and structurally solid. Combined with her 2 40HP Yanmar Diesel engines, she cruises easily at 6-7 knots and is highly manoeuvrable. Under sail and with up to 115sgm of sail, she can gain up to 16+ knots making for some fantastic sailing. S/Y Mahayana boasts an abundance of space. Sleeping up to 8 guests & 2 crew, guests can take advantage of her 4 spacious double cabins. S/Y Mahayana also offers ample space on the rear deck where guests can sit, relax and enjoy dinner under the stars. The foredeck area with its two large nets and numerous bean bags provides a fantastic spot to take in the surroundings, read a book or sunbathe. Where the sun becomes too hot, there is plenty of shade provided by either the sails or by an awning that can be put up to ensure your comfort.
